In 2004, Shelley Markwart decided that it was time to teach her three sons about Love and Respect.

One weekend morning she drew a beautiful sun game board on a sheet of paper. To fill in the blank spaces she asked her sons what love and respect meant to them. After filling in some blanks, they rolled up the paper to take to their friends in school for their input.

Throughout the year, hundreds of children were asked what love and respect meant to them and they drew pictures of the words they were using to describe their emotions and feelings.

Finally the first Zany World Board Game was created in 2005.
